Anyone else into comics?

I started being interested by comics a couple of months ago and I'm now an addict! I'd like to know what are your favorites and what are you following or looking forward to. I love everything Batman related and I'm really looking forward to the Dark Knight Metal event kicking off this month. I'm following a couple DC and marvel series too, but also some others like Kill or be killed.

I like them too. I grew up reading Dragon Ball and read a couple others here and there, but I find comics more compelling. French being my first language, I mostly read french and belgian stuff like Tintin and Asterix when I was young, so the overall style is closer to this with comics.

I go through bursts of following comics. I, too, tend to follow Batman comics when I do so, though I've followed a bunch of X-Men over the years, and now some Deadpool after enjoying the movie so much. Also have read the first few TPBs of Fables, which is really good.

Like MattAY, though, I have read more manga over the years than I have other comics. I'm not really following anything at the moment.

My girlfriend started reading the Fables TPBs but I never actually though to read it to see if it was any good. I'll have a look!

A funny story with Fables is that I looked at some of the pages while she read it and told her "Man, this guy looks like the main character from this game, The Wolf Among Us" only to find out later that it was based on it while Googling it!

Yeeees I had Asterix as a kid. Albeit I dont remember much to be honest.
I've always appreciated the art side of things as well, some comics are amazing to look at. But I've always enjoyed the art of manga much more, and I think I just read the right books first that got me into them.
Airgear is probably my favourite manga series, followed extremely closely by Battle Royale!

Battle Royale is actually one of the few mangas I enjoyed. I'd say it's my favorite too along along with Dragon Ball (can't kill that nostalgia factor!).

Absolutely.

I've stopped buying comics recently due to budget issues, but I'm still looking forward to reading Metal. DC is doing quality recently and I am happy.

I love DC. Marvel does some ok stuff too, but right now, DC is much more compelling in my opinion. It's true though that the hole it leaves in my pocket is bigger than I thought at first!

I love comics, but like Longo_2_guns has said, I don't buy comics anymore either as they can be quite expensive. The last set of comics I bought was the Saga series (volumes one to six), which was really weird, but it was actually quite good and clever, very different.

For a while, I was reading the Darth Vader comics by Marvel comics. Holy crap, he is such a bad arse in those comics.

I want to create own story too. But for it I need to have strong wrting skills. Now my english proficiency is not perfect so I need to improve my grammar skills too. From time to time others write my essay for me for cheap when the topic of story is very difficult.

I'm a DC fan. Been to several Comic-Cons which are awesome! I used to only follow DC movies, but then I got interested in reading the books too
