I just started it today...threw up 2/3rds of the way through, so lots of work to do. But it's a 60 day program so I'm gonna try sticking to it. Anyone ever try this or it's variant (P90X)?

Medieval II: Total War

Just Cause Wrapped up Borderlands (poorly constructed game but a ton of fun) and Sonic Generations (meh) so it's currently my focus.

Not completely fair but both games combine FPS and RPG elements and both games take place on a wasteland. Borderlands is faster paced, yes, but the game share many similarities. Limited inventory space, quests, experience points, levels, skills, looting...it's all there. And IMO New Vegas does...

I think it was a mistake playing Borderlands right after New Vegas...it's very good, I enjoy it, but I keep thinking 'this game makes me think of New Vegas just inferior in basically every single way'.

Sonic Generations Hoping I can beat it in a day, it's an extremely short game so I think it's reasonable. Clear the way for Borderlands or Civ 5. Not sure which to play first.

Duke Nukem Forever Not expecting much but I haven't played a simple, dumb shoot em up game in awhile.

I actually don't flat out dislike any of the three games I mentioned.

I never really cared about the 'revolutionary-ness' of a game, ultimately that effect only lasts for a very brief period of time and eventually the game will have to stand on it's own. I mean really, when you think about it, OOT is just 3D LTTP, MGS is just MG 3D, and FF7 is just FF6 3D...

I will give Earthbound credit for being one of the first games ever with a genuine sense of humor, and I understand the game was essentially mocking the RPG genre which, at the time, was dominating the video game scene. It was basically an RPG satire. I don't completely hate the game either...

Yeah i find myself generally unimpressed by ocarina of time as well. It's well made and certainly not bad but 2 or 3 times in my life I've sat down thinking 'okay this time i will finally beat this game' but always stop a few hours in and go start something else. I'm due to actually finish it...

55.5 hours into new vegas... i don't want it to end. And every time i complete a quest 2 more sidequests pop up! It's like the game knows i don't want it to end and keeps giving me more stuff before the battle at the hoover dam.

The three most overrated games ever IMO 1: Earthbound 2: Shadow of the Colossus 3: Halo: Combat Evolved There are some others I think are overrated but those three in particular strike me as being especially overrated.

New Vegas is freaking amazing. Love it.

Splinter Cell: Conviction Going to try to beat it tonight, if not tonight then definitely tomorrow, to make way for New Vegas. Only main SC game I have not played.
