New Years Resolutions

Every year I do these but I think if I make them a bit more public or talk about them to more people I'll be more likely to stick to them. My New Year's Resolutions are as follows:

Do something really exciting to change the course of my life and kick the dust off.
Exercise daily for a minimum of 30 minutes and lose weight.
Finish games I start, and if I know I won't be able to, don't start a game until I've cleared my work schedule enough to do so.
Maintain a cleaner house and lifestyle, less drinking, smoking, and heroin.
Get the forum code updated and encourage more users to use different areas of the site (forum to front page, front page to forum, both to chat).
Throw at least 4 awesome community playdates like we had with Halo 4 .
Pay off all my credit card debt and start saving like a mother fucker.

Maybe more, I'll edit if I can think of anything. What are your New Years resolutions for 2013?

I don't make resolutions, unless I actually try to keep it. Like last year (or this year still), I made a goal to get out of my dad's apartment. Mission accomplished.

I don't really make new year's resolutions, but uh...

Get a job?
Deal with health issues and stop being a pansy about it
Pay off at least most of what I owe for university tuition
Call up a friend more often to go for a walk
Acquire at least two more sets of better clothes
If previous things go well, donate hair
Travel to see a non-local friend
Relatedly, consider flying in a plane, or flying a plane

Win a GR award

1. lull this year's random qtπ into false sense of security, long enough to sire my seed as to continue the bloodline.
2. complain about the forum's direction a lot less; it's whatever way the wind blows in 2013.
3. clean out Lethean's cage more often and take him to the vet.
4. read the GR Awards 2012 results when they're released come February.
5. stop being a pussy and man up to getting drunk more often. they're not decriminalizing marijuana in Texas, christopher, deal with it. :'(
6. accept, show more patience with, and be more understanding of my family.
7. send out some comedy writing and see if anything happens with it.
8. buy a cellphone.

no worries, he just means the first half. it's more a of time saving endeavor than anything.

Complete adoption of wife's younger brother.

not sure i'd recommend it. might look a little silly.

as for the topic i quit making resolutions like 6 years ago. if i wasn't going to do it without making it a resolution, i'm not gonna do it just because I did.

so i'll write down a list of things i'd like to accomplish. but am making no guarantees

- get shredded for the summer again
- get a tattoo after achieving the former (i've decided i want lots of tattoos, i'm bored with my bland look)
- be better with my money
- play less video games
- watch more movies
- have more sex with my girlfriend
- take my dogs for more walks/runs
- go on a vacation or two
